Etta M. “Toots” Currier, 79, of Plattsburgh passed away, Sunday, March 21, 2021 at her home with her family at her side. She was born in Willsboro, on January 31, 1942, the daughter of Lester and Rachel Maynon.
Toots had a passion for cooking and liked to play cards. She loved to socialize, spending time with her friends and family. She enjoyed going for long drives, being with children and dogs. She’ll be missed for her humor and quick wit. She was charitable in nature and would raise money to support families at Christmas time.
She is survived by her son, Edward Dukette Jr., her siblings, Tillie Pierce, Chuck Maynon and his wife Maureen, Martha Anderson and her husband Ray, and several nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her husband, Charles Currier who she loved very much, and her brother-in-law, Stanley Pierce.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
