Eva A Buskey

Mrs. Eva Agnes Buskey (Hooper) formerly of Saranac, NY , died peacefully at home on August 25, 2019 with her kids present. She was born in Edminston, NY, March 28, 1925 the daughter of Silas Hooper and Delia (Blair) Hooper.
Eva is survived by two daughters: Nancy & (Ronald) Prewitt of Wheaton, MO, Linda & (Kenneth) Ossman of Macedon, NY, two sons: Andrew Buskey Jr. and companion Lois Brown of Plattsburgh & Daniel & (Rosemary) Buskey of Windsor, NC. 12 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and 2 great, great Grandchildren plus step grandchildren, a sister Isetta (Lyle) Paro of Syracuse, NY and brother Arnold Hooper (Nancy) of Ogdensburg, NY.
Eva was predeceased by her husband Andrew Buskey, a daughter Denise Guisbert of Jackson, MI, father and mother, brothers Frank, Roy, Clifford, Clarence, Earnest, Donald, Silas and sisters Irene & Catherine.
She was a hit at the Saranac town hall where every week she would sing a song that she wrote herself in 1964, she really enjoyed singing and yodeling for them, it was something she looked forward to each week.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday, August 28, 2019 from 11:30am to 12:45 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 1:00pm at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
