Evelyn A. Lareau

Evelyn A. Lareau, 83, of Patriot Drive, Plattsburgh, passed away on December 12, 2024 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with her family by her side. She was born in Schoharie, NY on May 9, 1941 the daughter of Leslie and Violet (Zimmer) Wilsey. Evelyn enjoyed traveling, spending winters in Florida, going out to breakfast, reading, bowling, knitting, crocheting and cooking. She married Milo Lareau at St. Joseph's Church in Schoharie on October 21, 1961. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, a son Mark Allen Lareau, a daughter Michelle Patricia Lareau, her brothers Warren and Bruce Wilsey. She is survived by her husband Milo, their children; Mark (Laura) Lareau, Michael (Traci) Lareau and Milyn (Wally Buck) Lareau, grandchildren; Michelle, Zachary, Austin, Elizabeth (Andy) and Courtney (Carl), great grandchildren; Michael, Deanna, James, Jacob and Kaiden. Services will be private, burial will be at St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's care. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
