Faith A Patnode

Ellenburg Corners Faith A. Patnode, 71, of Route 11 in Ellenburg Corners, passed away Friday, February 14, 2014 at her home surrounded by her family and under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Ellenburg on July 19, 1942, the daughter of the late Ezra and Enola (LaBarge) Boyea. Faith married Ralph Patnode on January 3, 1959 at Holy Angels Church in Altona. She stayed home for many years raising their family. Later Faith worked at the Clinton County Nursing Home in Plattsburgh for 25 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Holy Angels Church in Altona. Faith enjoyed camping at Blue Haven Camp Ground and spending time with her friends and family. She was predeceased by her parents. Faith is survived by her husband of 55 years Ralph Patnode, four children; Tammy Garrand and her husband Dennis of Moores, Pamela Dufrane and her husband Derrick of Altona, Darlene Hart and her husband Chad of Ellenburg, and Brad Patnode and his wife Michele of Plattsburgh, eight grandchildren; Heather, Joey, Erin, Jill, Nathan, Ashley, Cassidy and Savannah, nine great-grandchildren, a sister Carla Garrand and her companion Rod Johnson, several nieces, nephews, a special friend Anita Seguin and her dog Sophie also survive her. Calling hours will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday February 17, 2014 at 1:00 pm at Holy Angels Church in Altona, burial will be in the parish cemetery later in the year.
