Florence R Avery

Mrs. Florence R. Avery, 82, of Palmer St., Plattsburgh, New York passed away, Monday, February 27, 2012 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Middle Granville, New York on November 24, 1929 the daughter of Arthur and Roseanna (LaPlante) LaBombard. Florence enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, flower and vegetable gardening, taking drives and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Peter's Church. Florence was predeceased by her parents, her husband Carl C. Avery, Sr., a half brother Robert LaPLante and a son-in-law John Chartier. She is survived by her children; Brenda Blaise and her husband Sherwood of Plattsburgh, Nora Chartier and her companion Joe Waite of Plattsburgh, Carl C. Avery, Jr. of Chazy, his twin sister Carla Monette and her husband Norman of Mather, PA, Colleen Avery of Florida, Mark Avery and his companion Sherry of New Hampshire, several grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Thursday, March 1, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St, Plattsburgh, NY. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at a later date at St. Peter's Cemetery.
