Florence M Botten

Plattsburgh Florence M. (Corron) Botten, age 100, and formerly of Beekman Towers died on July 12, 2012 at Meadowbrook Health Care Facility. She was born in Clayburg, NY on September 25, 1911, the daughter of Charles and Celina (Fountain) Corron. She married Cyril B. (Jack) Botten on May 5, 1934 at St. Peter's Church. Survivors included one son, Charles Botten (Elizabeth) of Plattsburgh, and a daughter, Barbara (James) Lockley of Rand Hill; grandchildren: Matthew Botten of Carefree, Arizona, Susan (Timothy) Cain of Mesa, Arizona, Thomas (Rosemary) Botten of Chazy, Bethany (Bobby) Terry of Middleburg, Florida, and Nancy Botten of Highland, NY; six great-grandchildren: Shawn and Nicholas Terry, Kristin Cain, Sara (Cain) Bagley, and Jeffrey and Craig Botten and two great-great-grandchildren Kaley and Savannah Terry and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, Cyril (Jack) Botten, who died on May 4, 1973, her parents, and brothers Remi, Victor sisters Agnes Myers, Anna Manley, Lela Provost, and Flora Fountain; she is also predeceased by infant grandsons, Michael and Joseph Botten. There will be no calling hours. A memorial Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2012 at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
