Francis E Guay

Francis E. Guay, 67, of the Samuel F. Vilas Home, Plattsburgh, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019 at the UVM-CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Plattsburgh on March 8, 1952, the son of the late Emile and Helene Guay.
He served his country in the United States Army, working as a dental hygienist in the service. He often enjoyed walking, being outdoors and will be missed for his charitable nature.
He is survived by his children, Michelle and Anthony, his brothers; Iva Guay and his wife Therese, Michael Guay and his wife Helen, and Vincent Guay and his wife Kathy, his sisters, Rosalie Tetreault and her husband Felix, Cecile Hanfield, Veronica Belvel, Marielle Miller, and Julie Courtney and her husband John, several nieces and nephews, and his extended Vilas Home family.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sisters; Angele Laurin and her husband Paul, and Jeannette Beeman and her husband Arnold, and brothers, Rolland, David, and Gerald Guay.
Visitation will be Monday, April 8, 2019 from 9:00am-10:00am at St. Peter’s Church, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00am at St. Peter’s Church, 114 Cornelia St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901. Interment will be in the family plot in St. Mary's Cemetery, Champlain at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to the North Country Honor Flight.
