Francis J Proulx

Plattsburgh Mr. Francis J. Proulx, 77, of Graves Lane Plattsburgh, New York passed away Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center. He was born in Cooperville, New York on May 23, 1933 the son of Emile and Adele (Laundry) Proulx. Francis was a veteran of Korea serving in the U. S. Army. He enjoyed coin collecting and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Francis was a member of St. Peter's Church. He was predeceased by his parents, two sons, Michael D. Proulx and Robert Francis Proulx, his brothers, Roger, Albert and Norman Proulx. Francis is survived by his wife of 55 years Irene (Desautels) Proulx of Plattsburgh, four daughters; Susan De La Cerda and her husband Jo Jo of Albany, NY, Sandra Olsen and her husband Herb of Plattsburgh, NY, Carol Nasidka and her husband Steve of Syracuse, NY, Lisa Boyd and her husband Bruce of Plattsburgh, NY, a son Brian Proulx and his wife Tracy of Chicago, IL, three sisters; Mary Proulx of Rouses Point, Pauline Proulx of Rouses Point, Jeanne Bechard of Plattsburgh, one brother Joseph Proulx of Rouses Point, 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday, October 1, 2010 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment with military honors will follow at St. Peter's Cemetery.
