Frank M Buksa

Frank M. Buksa, 75, of Stafford Road, passed away Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by his side. He was born in Johnstown, Pa., on January 12, 1944, the son of the late Elizabeth Tomsky.
Frank served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962-1966 and later was employed as a machine operator at Georgia Pacific for 25 years until he retired due to a work related injury. He was a member of American Legion Post 20 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and his pet cats.
He is survived by his wife Carol (Wilson) Buksa, his son Frank A. and Brenda Buksa, a daughter Cheri Buksa and partner Monique Russell, all of Plattsburgh; his sister; Kathy Feathers and companion Bob, an uncle Joseph Buksa , a brother Larry Buksa , all of Johnstown, Pa., his grandchildren; Frank M. Buksa and fiancée Andee Boire, Brandon Buksa, , his sisters in law and brother in law; Kathleen Scott, Gail Wilson, Phyllis Coleman, Jeanette and Earl Couture, several nieces and nephews and his cat Sammy.
He was predeceased by an Aunt and Uncle, Helene and Joe Misick, his mother in law and father in law; Lena and Randolph Wilson, brothers in law; Keith and Rusty Wilson and his cat Smokey.
In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held at St. Bernard’s Cemetery in Lyon Mountain at a later date. Memorial donations may be offered to Focus on Ferals, PO Box 274, Brainardsville, NY 12915 or an animal care group of your choice.
