Brushton Mr. Frank J. Guerin, 75, of State Route 11, Brushton, New York passed away, Friday, April 29, 2011 at his home with his loving family by his side. He was born Altona, New York on February 19, 1936 the son of Arthur and Viola (LaBarge) Guerin. Frank had worked for the Town of Homer. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Frank was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Viola Guerin, his siblings Bertha Jarvis and Amos Guerin. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Betty (Merritt) Guerin of Brushton, four sons; Glenn Guerin of Brushton, Frank Guerin, Jr. of Brushton, James Guerin of Brushton, Amos Guerin and his life partner Kim Hebert of Moira, two daughters; Linda Russell and her husband Joseph of Moira, Amy Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida, four sisters; Alice Warren of Ellenburg Depot, Priscilla LaGoy of Altona, Sandra Dibble and her husband Harold of Moira, Linda Dibble and her husband Norman of Dickerson, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 3, 2011 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 3123 Miner Farm Road, Altona, New York. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Gilbert Boisvert, Pastor of Holy Angel's Church, Altona. Interment will follow at Holy Angel's Cemetery.
