Fred James Robinson

Plattsburgh Fred J. Robinson, 47, of Lyons Road, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010. He was born in Plattsburgh, NY on December 4, 1962 the son of Francis and Helen (Desotell) Robinson. Fred served his country in the United States Army from 1980 to 1984 in the 82nd Airborne Division. After returning from the Army he worked as a painter and farmer. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Fred was predeceased by his father Francis Robinson, Sr. and his brother Francis Robinson, Jr. He is survived by his mother Helen Robinson of Plattsburgh, four children; Michelle Robinson of Littleton, NC, Kimberly Robinson of Bladenboro, NC, Danny Hamilton of Jay, NY and Dakota Robinson of Plattsburgh, NY, five grandchildren; Brooke, Logan, D.J., Hailey and Arionna, two sisters; Helen Bechard and her husband Laurent of Champlain, NY and Pamela Lawson and her husband Robert of Plattsburgh, NY and a brother Charles Robinson and family of Plattsburgh, NY, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends also survive him. Calling hours will be held on Monday October 18, 2010 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel, burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery.
