G. Catherine "Kaye" Eppler

G. Catherine "Kaye" Eppler, 96, of Morrisonville, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Elderwood of Uihlein in Lake Placid with her family by her side. She was born on November 20th, 1928, the daughter of Frank Bean and Hazel (Taylor) Bean. Kaye dedicated her life to church and family. Widowed as a young mother, she moved from Syracuse to Malone to raise her son closer to his cousins, aunts and uncles. She later moved to Plattsburgh, helping to take care of her grandchildren and instilling in them Catholic values. She always made sure bellies were full and kids were dressed properly. Her most cherished times were with family and friends. Kaye was formerly a Eucharistic Minister and on the Parish Council at Notre Dame Church in Malone, and she was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, the Rosary Society, and the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion, Post 219. She is survived by her son, Michael Eppler and his wife, Kam; their children, Jeremy Eppler and his wife, Indira Gradys, Zachary Eppler and his wife, Rebecca, and Tanner LeCuyer; great grandchildren, Ellie, Emilia, Ezra, Samuel and Savannah; sister, Barbara Brunelle; and many nieces and nephews, including Steven Burgess and his wife, Lisa. She is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Jeremiah; sisters, Betty, Ruth, and Joyce; brothers, Harold, Gerald and Kenny; granddaughter, Kristin; and great grandson, Michael. The family will have a Memorial Mass and a Celebration of Life at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home. Online condolences may be offered at www.brownfuneralhomeny.com
