Gail Marie (Page) Hoffmann, 77, of Peru, passed Monday, May 21, 2018 at Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington, VT. She was born on June 15, 1940, in Plattsburgh, NY. Gail was a true homemaker, providing for her family through her excellent cooking and baking, and also known for her ironing. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Augustine's Church. Gail had a green-thumb, working in her garden. In her free time, she often could be found reading a book, especially mystery novels or learning history. Her greatest love was to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She married William E. Hoffmann of Peru, NY on June 27, 1970. She was predeceased by her husband, her Papa Frenchie and Ma Mildred. She is survived by her children; William J. Hoffmann, Brian Bloom and his wife Phyllis, Terry-Marie McCorkindale and her husband James, Barbara Ann Rubinstein, and Patricia Rasmussen and her husband David, her grandchildren; Christopher Bloom, Robert Bloom, Shaunalee Gibas and her husband Aaron, Jayme McCorkindale, Aaron McCorkindale, Robert Rubinstein and his partner Angkhane, Sherry-Mae Rasmussen, great-grandchildren; Quentin and Everett Rubinstein, and her sister Judy Fifield Troy and nieces and nephews. There will be no public calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Augustine's Church in Peru, NY.
