Gail A Hill (Rabatoy)

Gail A. Hill, 56, of Lorraine St., Plattsburgh, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2016 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on December 6, 1959, daughter of Chester and Helena (Winser) Rabatoy. Gail loved to go riding on the motorcycle with her husband, participating in events such as the Ride to Remember and Americade in Lake George. She had a big heart for her pets; dogs, cats and even a lizard. Gail had a passion for photography, especially taking pictures of sporting events. Gail enjoyed all music and could be found in her free time listening, singing and dancing. She will be missed for her easy going personality. She is predeceased by her son, Sean Hill in 1985, her brother, Bobby Rabatoy in 2007, and her grandchildren, Sheryl and Holdyn Wray in 2010. Gail is survived by her husband, Kevin Hill, her daughters; Amber Wray and her husband Brandon, and Cassandra Hill, her son, Henry Hill and his companion Kerrie Favreau, all of Plattsburgh, her parents, Chester and Helena Rabatoy of Beekmantown, a brother, Alfred M. Rabatoy and his wife, Penny of Chazy Lake, her sister, Debra Brown and her husband, William of Chateaugay, her sister in law, Dawn Lantry and her husband Terry, of Postenkill, NY, and many nieces and nephews and several others she acted as a mother to. Calling hours will be Tuesday, April 19, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh. A funeral ceremony will be at 7:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at 1:00 pm in St. Alexander's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Elmore SPCA or the Ronald McDonald House.
