Genevieve T Doty

Genevieve Theresa Doty, 80, passed away peacefully, Monday October 29, 2018 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh on January 13, 1938, the daughter of Delbert E. and Isabelle (LaPlante) Reel. She worked at CVPH for 35 years. She enjoyed bowling, reading, and cross-stitching. She especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Walter, her sons; Anthony (Rose) Doty, Timothy (Brenda) Doty and special daughter Sue Gonyo, grandchildren David (Kacie) Doty, Daniel Doty, and Jessica Doty, great-grandchildren, Allie, Emilie, Jillian, Veronica, Patrick, and Molly, her sisters; Virginia (Gerald) Gonyea, Cheryl (Russ) Horral, her brothers; George (Naomi) Reel, Robert Reel, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Gloria Wells, June Bruno, Esther Parrish, Clifford Doty, Raymond Doty, Connie (Robert) Laundry, and Doris (Howard) Senecal, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her brother Ronald and sisters Barbara and Rose Marie. Services will be at the convenience of the family.
