Genevieve R. Noonan, 72, of Cemetery Road , Point au Roche, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at her home. She was born in Plattsburgh on November 20, 1948, the daughter of the late Daniel and Virginia (Phaneuf) Noonan.
Genevieve was employed at CVPH for many years and operated a booth at the Plattsburgh Farmer’s Market for many years displaying her art work. She enjoyed painting, traveling, and gardening.
She is survived by her sister Mary Fredette, a daughter Adena Long, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her siblings; Elizabeth “Betty” Favreau, John D. Noonan, Kathleen “Kay” Leonard, Theresa “Tessie” Robertson, and Patricia Jukovsky.
A Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 pm at her home.
In lieu of flowers friends wishing may make donations to North Country Behavioral Medicine.
