George J Leclair

Mr. George J. LeClair, 69, of Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2015, at the UVM Health Network CVPH Medical Center, in Plattsburgh. He was born in Saranac Lake, NY on June 10, 1945 the son of Raymond and Jeannette (Frenyea) LeClair. George served in the United States Army in the 101st Airborne Division. He worked for many years at C&E Fencing. George enjoyed being outside, hunting and fishing. He had a love for cars and watching NASCAR. George's greatest love was spending time with his family. He is predeceased by his parents, his sisters; Rosanne Mousseau and Patricia Walker, and his special canine friend, Mattie. George is survived by his wife of 33 years, Diane, his children and their spouses; Tammy Zalusky and her husband Keith, Julie Sharron and her husband Michael, Derek LeClair and his companion Jaclyn Pearce, Joseph Aubin and his wife Brenda, Jesse LeClair and his companion Darcy Simmons, Angela Devins and her husband Gerald, Jamie Aubin and his companion Terry Devins, his sisters; Josie Garrand, Bess Senecal and her husband Paul, his brother Raymond LaClair and his wife Litta, 18 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsburgh.
