Bordeau, Jr., 58 of Route 9N in Ausable Forks, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at his home. He was born in Plattsburgh on July 1, 1956 the son of the late Gerald and Mildred (Brown) Bordeau, Sr. Gerald was a bus driver for the Ausable Valley School District for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed guiding ski-doo tours in Lake Placid, fishing, and going to the casino. He is survived by his wife, Brenda (LaFountain) Bordeau, a brother; David J. Bordeau and his companion Jamie Trombley of Plattsburgh; five sisters and four brothers in law, Sharron Bordeau of West Chazy, Karen and Robert Jock of Plattsburgh, Nancy and Kenneth Champain of West Chazy, Lori and Martin Relation of West Chazy and Helen and David Wentzel of West Chazy, his mother in law; Geraldine LaFountain of Jay ,his brothers in law and sisters in law; Arleigh and Sheila LaFountain of Ausable Forks, Francis and Heather LaFountain of Peru, Patricia and Richard Simpson of Jay, Johnny and Darcy LaFountain of Ausable Forks, Shari LaFountain of Clintonville, many nieces and nephews and his faithful canine companion "Zoe". He was predeceased by his parents, his father in law; Arleigh LaFountain, Sr., a niece, Jessica Champain. In accordance with Gerald's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Peter's Cemetery. Memorial donations may be offered to the family.
