Geraldine E. Bellows

Geraldine E. Bellows, 98, of Morrisonville, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024 at the UVHN:CVPH Medical Center. She was born on July 30th, 1926, the daughter of John Darrah and Grace (Laundry) Darrah. She married the love of her life, Eugene Bellows in 1945. Eugene predeceased her in April 1991. She worked at the Morrisonville Post Office as a Postal Clerk from 1950 to 1957. She is survived by her children, Sandra Schuessler and husband Clitus Schuessler from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Bonnie Nowell and ex-husband Randy Nowell of Leesburg, Florida, her son Scott Bellows and wife Melinda (Torre) Bellows of Grand Isle, Vermont. Five grandchildren Richard Schuessler, Melissa (Schuessler) O’Keefe, Brian Bellows, Stephen Bellows, and Matthew Bellows. Her five great grandchildren Richard Hunt, Ryan O’Keefe, Emily O’Keefe, Sierra (Schuessler) Samuelson, Brooke Schuessler, and her one great-great grandchild Ivy Hunt. She was predeceased by her brothers Roy Darrah of West Plattsburgh, New York, and Earl Darrah of Beekmantown, New York and her grandchild Rebecca Schuessler (daughter of Sandra and Clitus Schuessler). She loved to play golf, water skiing, and snow skiing. She enjoyed fishing on her pontoon boat on Fern Lake and watching sunsets from her camp. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
