Geraldine H. "Geri" Buckley, 96, of West Chazy , died Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with her loving family by her side. She was born Friday, August 31, 1928, the daughter of Leo and Della (Favreau) Premore. Geri was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, West Chazy for over 50 years where she donated the Baptismal Font in her husband's name. She owned and operated Stony Acres Mobile Home Park in West Chazy. Geri worked at the Western Union Telegraph office for 23 years. She was a member of the Busy B's of Beekmantown, Post 20 Ladies Auxiliary, and St. Joseph's Church Altar Rosary Society. In her free time, she often enjoyed bowling, golf, and testing her luck at the casino. One of Geri's highlights was traveling; her adventurous spirit brought her to Ireland to kiss the Blarney Stone at 84 years young, took a helicopter when travelling Alaska, and a plane ride through the Grand Canyon. Above all else, she loved her family. She is survived by her daughter Susan Buckley, son Michael Buckley and his wife Catherine, her grandchildren; Jonathan, Benjamin (Amanda), Olivia (Kaden), and Ian, her great-grandchildren; Jacob, Bryson, and Everest, her sisters-in-law, Carol Buckley, Sandy Buckley, and Hortense Premore and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Clifton, her grandson Nicholas Buckley Furnia, her siblings; Lorraine Crews, Howard and Robert Premore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, September 13, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Joseph's Church, West Chazy. Burial will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery, Plattsburgh. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, or Beyond Type 1 for diabetes support. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
