Geraldine G "Geri" Labarge

Altona Miss Geraldine G. "Geri" LaBarge, 80, formerly of Station Street Altona, New York passed away Monday, November 29, 2010 at the Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Ellenburg, New York on September 22, 1930 the daughter of Herman and Flossie (Barnaby) LaBarge. Geri had worked at the Supreme Footwear in Mooers. She enjoyed dancing, listening to country music and before she went blind she enjoyed putting puzzles together. Geri was predeceased by her parents Herman and Flossie LaBarge. She is survived by two sisters, Eileen LaBarge of Altona, Marcella and Rene Rabideau of Mooers, her nieces and nephews; Wayne and Gail Rabideau of Montpelier, Vt., Terry Rabideau of Mooers, Dale Rabideau of Mooers, Lisa Rabideau of Mooers, a great niece and great nephew ; Alyssa and Josh Rabideau of Mooers. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday , December 1, 2010 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 3123 Miner Farm Road in Altona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 11:00 am from Holy Angels Church in Altona. Interment will be in St. Edmund's Cemetery in Ellenburg.
