Geraldine I. Trombley 97, of Cadyville, NY passed away peacefully at CVPH March 10, 2025, she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 23, 1928, in Syracuse, New York to the late Earl and Addie Marshall. Geraldine was the heart and soul of her family. She was known for her compassion, generosity, sense of humor and her direct honesty. She was a devoted mother of four daughters, grandmother of seven, and a great-grandmother of seven and a great-great grandmother of one. Geraldine’s greatest joy came from nurturing her family and going out for a night of Bingo. Experiencing her perfect pancakes and a cup of instant coffee for breakfast was a cherished moment. Gathering for birthdays and holidays was a family tradition and Christmas was her favorite time of year. Geraldine was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Trombley, her parents, Earl and Addie Marshall, her brother Roy Marshall (Theresa), her sister Veronica Kelly (Donald), a sister-in-law Shirley Marshall, and her grandson Kyle Garrow. Geraldine is survived by her children, Joanne Hemingway (Rick Bushey), Diane Facteau (Tim Facteau), Robin Webber and Linda Spooner (Burt Spooner). Her brother Jerry Marshall. Her grandchildren, Ronnie Hemingway (Yola Hemingway), Shelly Pellerin (Laura Elbon), Sara Dunham (Travis Dunham), Shawn Webber (Katie Webber), Chad Webber and Megan Seymour. Her great grandchildren Bailee McGlynn, Kaylin McGlynn, Hanna Browne, Lia Clemans, Logan Webber, Kalob Webber (Kazlyn Webber) and Paul Webber. Great-Great Grandchild Gia Browne. Along with many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to Sandy, Sara and Yola for the care and support given during her last few years, to Krysti Desrocher (Tootsie Whootsie) for the laughs you had with Hunny bunny, and to Betty and Anna for helping with her home care needs. Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, March 12, 20205 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh, New York. A prayer service will follow.
