Gilbert O Garrant

Gilbert O. Garrant, 87, of Moffitt Road, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Friday September 16, 2022 at his home under the care of Hospice of the North Country with his loving family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on May 17, 1935 the son of Emile and Sarah (LaTour) Garrant.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Sally Garrant, two daughters; Sue (Ricky) Stone and Judy Garrant, sister, Shirley LaRose, four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, and his dog Tiny.

He is predeceased by his parents, his sisters, Marion Mousseau and Betty Martin and brother, Emile Garrant Jr.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday September 21, 2022 at St. Peter’s Cemetery, with a celebration of life to follow.
