Gladys M Trudo

East Syracuse Mrs. Gladys M. Trudo, 93, formerly of Sanborn Avenue, Plattsburgh, New York passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at the home of her daughter Wanda in East Syracuse, New York. She was born in Altona, New York on February 20, 1917 the daughter of Eugene and Eva M. (Recore) Peryea. Gladys had made her home in East Syracuse for the past eighteen years. She enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening, keeping in touch with family and friends and helping others. While living in Plattsburgh she was a member of St. John's Church. Gladys was predeceased by her parents, her loving and devoted husband William, her brothers; Ernest, Roy and Guy Peryea and sister Frances Oliver. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Trudo of East Syracuse, New York, two sisters-in-law; Grace Peryea and Fleure Ange "Fudge" Peryea both of Plattsburgh, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. at St. John's Church. Interment will follow at Holy Angel's Cemetery, Altona.
