Glenn G Andrews

Plattsburgh Glenn G. Andrews, 68, of South Catherine Street, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility in Plattsburgh. He was born in Plattsburgh on February 6, 1940, son of the late George R. and Marie (Dapo) Andrews. Glenn was a veteran of Vietnam, serving in the United States Army. He was a graduate of Our Lady of Victory Academy and was later employed as a New York State Corrections Officer, retiring from Altona Correctional Facility in April of 1995. Glenn was an avid outsdoorsman. Glenn is survived by his wife of forty one years, Susan J. (Sawyer) Andrews, his three children, Scott Andrews and his wife, Siobhan of Rockport, Maine, Shannon Rassman and her husband, Todd of Rockledge, Florida, Heather Foster and her husband, Garrett of Saranac Lake, four grandchildren, Aidan and Seamus Andrews, Zachary and Kylee Rassman, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Glenn was pre-deceased by his parents, George R. and Marie (Dapo) Andrews, an infant brother, George Andrews, Jr. and an infant sister, Joyce Andrews. Calling hours will be Sunday, August 3, 2008 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad Street, Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Victory Church, 4919 South Catherine Street, Plattsburgh. Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery in Plattsburgh. Donations in the memory of Glenn G.
