Gloria I. Gordon

Gloria I. Gordon, 84, of Saranac, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 11th, 1940 , the daughter of Victor Lashway and Mae Osher. She had a strong love for helping people. That's why she became a nurses aide for 19 years. She also loved animals and frequently gave to those organizations to help them. You would often see her doing word search in her spare time as she loved that too. ( until her eyesight prevented her from doing it anymore) She is survived by her children, Michael Gordon and his partner Cheryl of Richford, VT, Deborah Barber and her husband Jeffery of Saranac, NY, Patricia LaVarnway and her partner Joel of Cadyville, NY; grandchildren, Justin Gordon, Travis LaVarnway, Jacob Gordon, and Jason LaVarnway and his wife Tiffany; great grandchildren, London, Leighton, Lawson and Tanner; her brother, John Lashway and his wife Marianne; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband of 35 years, Stanley, her parents, and her brother Sheridan Services will be held on October 30, 2024 at at St. Joseph's Church in Dannemora, NY at 12:00 p.m. Followed by a Graveside Memorial She asked in lieu of flowers, either masses for soul or contributions to SPCA of the North Country or Hospice of the North Country.
