Gloria M Laclair

Plattsburgh Gloria M. LaClair, 66 of Hammond Lane, Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Tuesday November 10, 2009 at her home with her family by her side under the care of Hospice of the North Country. She was born in Standish, NY on July 11, 1943 the daughter of Herbert and Irene (Ploof) Lancto. Gloria worked for many years as an upholsterer at Larson Interiors in Plattsburgh. She was a member of St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. She was predeceased by her parents, a brother Gordon Lancto and a brother in law Donald Plummer. Gloria is survived by her husband of 49 years Victor LaClair, Sr., two sons; Ricky LaClair and his wife Kathy of Mooers Forks, and Victor LaClair, Jr. and his wife Tammy of Harkness, two daughters; Victoria Bedard and her husband Mark of Beekmantown and Candace Defayette and her husband Michael of West Chazy, five grandchildren; Deanna, Cheyenne, Cole, Cassie and Tyler, four brother; Roger Lancto of Watertown, Donald Lancto of MO and Richard Lancto of Cadyville, two sisters; Veronica Plummer of Plattsburgh and Carol Dufrane of MA. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Friday November 13, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m.at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh.
