Gloria M Supernaw

Mrs. Gloria M. Supernaw aka "Supernana", 82, of Newell Court, Morrisonville, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the CVPH Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Mooers Forks, NY on January 2, 1936 the daughter of Oliver and Camelia (Boulrice) LaFountain. She had worked in retail for many years and enjoyed doing needle point, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Gloria was predeceased by her parents, her siblings; Herbert LaFountain, Donald LaFountain (Alice), Rufus LaFountain , and Alpha LaFountain (Shirley). She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Charles Supernaw of Morrisonville, her children; Michael (Nan) Supernaw of Lynchburg, VA, Lynn (Randy) Bell of Peru, Charlene (David) Baker of Chazy, Julie (Rick) Duquette of Plattsburgh, a beloved sister Ruth (Leonard) Reyore of Chazy Lake who referred to Gloria affectionately as "Gooyea", 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law; Hilda Fresn of Champlain, Joyce Boire of Altona, several nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Alexander's Church. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may have masses said in her memory. Entombment will follow at Whispering Maples Mausoleum.
