Gordon H Reyell

Plattsburgh Mr. Gordon H. Reyell, 65, of Flynn Avenue in Plattsburgh, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2011 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh with his family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on October 6, 1946, the son of the late Harold and Irene (LaBier) Reyell. Gordon enjoyed cooking and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his companion Pauline Fountain, two daughters; Tammy of Plattsburgh and Lisa of Mooers, three stepsons; David Hathaway of Plattsburgh, Kevin Hathaway of Peru and John Hathaway of Plattsburgh, three stepdaughters; Lisa Garrow of Plattsburgh, Lea Mitchell of Plattsburgh, Damie Durgan of Peru, a sister in law; Mary Reyell of Schuyler Falls, several grandchildren including David Hathaway, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. A brother Gerard Reyell and a grandson David George Hathaway passed away earlier. A twin brother passed away at birth. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no calling hours. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in St. Peter's cemetery at a later date. The family wishes to thank the nurses of R7 especially Emily and Stephanie Laurin from Nutrition Services for the care given to Gordon.
