Guy A Bennett

Guy A. Bennett, 67, Jersey Shore, died Friday, March 27, 2020, at Manor Care Health Center in Jersey Shore.
Born Sept. 23, 1952 in Plattsburgh, N.Y., he was a son to the late Melvin E. Bennett Sr. and the former Ethelyn M. Wylie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janet.
Guy retired from the United States Air Force after 22 years of service, and was a corrections officer at SCI, Muncy. He loved hunting and fishing, and enjoyed camping and spending time with his grandsons.
He is survived by his wife, the former Cathy A. Fullmer, they were united in marriage July 24, 1976 in Williamsport; three daughters, Jamie R. (Charlie) Lewis of Mifflintown, Tammie A. Bennett of Jersey Shore and Lura C. (John) Spriggs of Lewistown; two brothers, Warren J. (Kathy) Bennett of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Melvin E. (Carol) Bennett Jr. of Utah; four sisters, Helen (Robert) Bodnar of Summerfield, Fla., Lynne (James) Lowe of Williamsport, Janice (Thomas) Butler of Plattsburgh, N.Y., and Gail (Donald) Soldato of Colorado; and two grandsons, Noah and Camden.
Services and honors from the Jersey Shore Honor Guard will be private.
Guy will be laid to rest at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
