Harold E Loveless

Harold E. Loveless, 72, of Lawrence Ma, and formerly of Route 3 in Redford, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at his home. He was born in Griffin, GA, on May 21, 1939 the son of James Samuel and Lois Virginia (Stewart) Loveless. Harold served in the United States Air Force; he was stationed in Greenland, Australia, Taiwan and several bases in the U.S., retiring in 1977 after 21 years of service. Soon after he enrolled at Plattsburgh State University, graduating in 1982 with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. He later worked as a Correctional Officer at Clinton Correctional Faculty in Dannemora, retiring in 2004 after over 20 years of service. Harold was a member of the Shriners. He enjoyed fishing, traveling, watching football and boxing and spending time with family. Harold is survived by ten children; Francesanne and Roland Lafrance of Winter Haven, F.L., Carl and Debbie Brown of Syracuse, David and Wendy Loveless of Andover, N.H., Linda Loveless of Baton Rouge, L.A., Elizabeth and Jeff Trombley of Plattsburgh, Maureen Cane of Redford, Carl Loveless of Syracuse, Harold and Denise of Alexandria, N.H., Donald James Loveless of Plattsburgh and Stephen Matthew Loveless of Lawrence, M.A., 31 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and hosts of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Caroline Beatrice (Stacy) Loveless, one son, Wayne Loveless, a brother Jerry Loveless Calling hours will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 30, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church in Plattsburgh.
