Harriet M. Taylor

Harriet M. Taylor, 93, passed away at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center on February 19, 2025 with her children by her side. She was born July 8, 1931, the daughter of Robert R. Martin and Mildred (Mitchell) Martin of Chateaugay, NY. Harriet graduated from Plattsburgh High School in June of 1948. She married Jerome H. Taylor on October 13, 1951 at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh, NY. She is survived by her two sons and three daughter-in-laws: Donna Taylor of Dannemora, NY, Eric and Lynn Taylor of Fishers, IN and Michael and Karen Taylor of West Chazy, NY; three grandchildren, Christopher of Dayton, OH, Curtis of Fishers, IN and Heather Branly of Satellite Beach, FL. Four great-grandchildren, Carson, Ashton, Cedric and Rori Taylor; Also survivors include, sister and brother-in-law, Mrs. Janice (Leon) Trombly of Plattsburgh. Brothers, Steven Martin of Ellenburg Center, Bruce and David Martin of Chateaugay. Also Many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerome Taylor, her sisters, Gladys Fortin and Grace Demarse, by her brothers, Jerry Martin, Robert Martin and Wayne Martin. Harriet was an active member of St. Joseph's Altar Rosary Society for many years. A Memorial Mass at St. Joseph's Church on March 15, 2025 at 11:00 am. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery, West Chazy in the spring. Memorial Donations to: St. Joseph's Church West Chazy or West Chazy Fire Department.
