Hazel N Lafontaine

Hazel N. LaFontaine, 95, formerly of Russell Barnard Apartments in Plattsburgh, passed away on Monday May 21, 2012, at Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattsburgh. She was born in Plattsburgh on February 4, 1917, the daughter of LeRoy and Margaret (Provost) Frederick and lived on Cumberland Head for many years. Hazel was predeceased by her husband, Eugene LaFontaine, her parents, Roy and Margaret Frederick, two brothers; Mitchell and Dewey Frederick and three sisters, Sue Murray, Mildred Bene and Ruth McKenna. She is survived by six step grandchildren in California, a brother-in-law John Murray, several nieces, nephews and a special friend, Venice Sakell also survive her. In accordance with her wishes there will be no calling hours or services. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery in Plattsburgh.
