Morrisonville Mrs. Hazel B. Leary, 101, of Route 22B in Morrisonville, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Morrisonville on December 28, 1912, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary Jane (Siddons) Bouyea. Hazel worked at Green Lawns Tea Room, where she met William "Slim" Leary who she later married in 1943. Hazel was a member of the St. Alexander's Church, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She had a love for shopping and playing Bingo. Hazel is survived by her niece, Eleanor Durgan and her husband James of Peru, her nephew, Mitchell Bouyea and his wife Joanne of Plattsburgh and several great-nieces and great-nephews. Hazel is predeceased by her parents, her husband William "Slim" Leary, her sisters Gladys Bouyea, Dorothy Boudrieau, Minnie Bouyea, her brother Frederick Bouyea. Donations in Hazel's memory may be made to St. Alexander's Church. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 6, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York.
