Helen I Bourey

Helen I. Bourey, 90, of Montcalm Avenue, Plattsburgh, NY, passed away on Wednesday July 22, 2015 at Evergreen Valley Nursing Home in Plattburgh. She was born in Standish, NY on January 16, 1925 the daughter of Joseph and Margaret (LaDuke) Bourey. Helen grew up in Standish and later moved to Plattsburgh when she began working in the Print Shop at SUNY Plattsburgh. She was a member St. Peter's Church, The Catholic Daughters and The St. Peter's Altar Rosary Society. Helen is survived by a sister Elaine Norwalk of Ormond Beach, Florida, and several nieces and nephews. . She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Leo, Francis and Arthur, and her sisters Margaret and Agnes. Calling hours will be held on Sunday July 26, 2015 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 27, 2015 at 10:00am at St. Peter's Church in Plattsburgh. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm on Monday July 27, 2015 at St. Bernard's Church in Lyon Mountain. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of the North Country or Masses in her memory.
