Helen M. Burleigh, 89, of Route 3 in Redford, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Clayburg on September 16, 1934, the daughter of the late Michael and Alvina (Provost) Farrell. Helen was employed for Marriott at Plattsburgh State University for many years and was later employed at CVPH Medical Center for many years. She was a parishioner of the Church of the Assumption in Redford. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going to Yard Sales . She is survived by her children and their spouses; Jean and Ken LaDuke, of West Chazy, Mike and Bridget Burleigh of Morrisonville, Linda Alexander and companion Rob of Clayburg, Karen and John Gould of Saranac, Theresa and Mike Rabideau of Standish, Annette Burleigh and Pete of Redford, Tammy and Chris Cringle of Cadyville, Laurie and John Supley of Saranac, Jimmy Burleigh of West Chazy, her siblings and their spouses; Mitch and Gloria Farrell of Hudson Falls, Albert and Judy Farrell of Schenectady, Jim Farrell of Redford, her grandchildren; Cory, Tina, Missy, Brittany, Brady, Norm, Casey, Jason, Jessica, Chad, Brad, Mallory, Katie, and their spouses and companions, 19 great grandchildren; several great great grandchilden and many nieces and nephews, a very special friend Molly Zappelloni and her children who were like a second family to her. She is also survived by her canine companion "Betsy." She was predeceased by her husband Alexander Burleigh, her sisters Nora Waldron, Marion Collins and Doris Gardner, and a brother John Farrell. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 12:00 pm at the Church of the Assumption in Redford. Interment will be in the parish cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Church of the Assumption. Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 3 Park Row in Cadyville.
