Cadyville Mrs. Helen C. "Honey" Miller, 81, of Park Row, Cadyville, New York passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at the Clinton County Nursing Home with family by her side. She was born in Cadyville, New York on August 27, 1930 the daughter of John "JB" and Rita (Tormey) Devan. Honey had been the Post Mistress at the Cadyville Post Office. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family. Honey was a member of the American Legion Post #1619 Ladies Auxiliary, Cadyville Civic Association and St. James Church. Her parents John and Rita Devan, her husband Kenneth G. Miller, a son Dale Miller and her brothers William, Clement and Earl Devan predeceased her. Honey is survived by daughter Dawn Landry and her husband Robert of Cadyville, a daughter-in-law Diane Miller of Saranac, three grandchildren Chad Peek and his wife Keri of Ballston Lake, Christopher Peek of Port Orchard WA, Jared Miller and his wife Amanda of Saranac, four great grandchildren, Tyler and Hunter Peek and Arianna and Lena Miller, her sister Elizabeth Connor and her husband Samuel of Cadyville, two sisters in law Dorothy Devan of Cadyville and Annette (Devan) Cayea of Mooers, several nieces and nephews also survive her. Calling hours will be held on Friday October 14, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 3 Park Row, Cadyville, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday October 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Church. Interment will follow at St. James Cemetery.
