Plattsburgh Mrs. Helen M. Trudeau, 78, of South Catherine Street and formerly of Beekmantown passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 07, 2010 at the CVPH Medical Center with her family by her side. She was born in Lake Placid, New York on January 7, 1932 the daughter of Ross and Laura (Whitman) Williams. Helen was an elementary school teacher at Beekmantown Central School District. She taught at West Chazy, the Beekmantown Bus Garage and Cumberland Head School retiring in 1987 after 22 years of service. Helen enjoyed traveling, reading and she previously wintered in Lakeland, Florida. She was a member of the Busy B's Senior Group and she was a member of St. Peter's Church. Helen greatest joy was spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her parents, Ross and Laura Williams, her husband Robert Trudeau, Sr., a son Robert Trudeau, Jr., a son-in-law Irving Breyette. Helen is survived by two sons; Randy Trudeau and his wife Ann of Morrisonville, Jeffrey Trudeau and his fiancé Laurie Butler of Plattsburgh, five daughters; Doreen Ocasio and her husband Frank of Schuyler Falls, Debra Breyette of Plattsburgh, Lucy St. Clair and her husband Steve of Peru, Judy Deyo of Winter Garden, Florida, Helen Sears and her husband Randy of Beekmantown, a daughter-in-law Gladys Trudeau of Morrisonville, two sisters Joan Sears of Syracuse, Karen Swiernik and her husband Arnold of Constableville, NY, three brothers; Donald Williams and his wife Beverly of Gloversville, Kenneth Williams and his wife Charlene of Manchester, ME, Ronald Williams and his wife Susan of Seneca, SC; 25 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, April 11, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, April 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Interment will be at St. Peter's Cemetery.
