Helena Shirley O'Connell

Helena Shirley O'Connell, 87, of Route 374, Cadyville, NY, passed away on Sunday February 11, 2018 at UVHN:CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. She was born in Cadyville, NY on Ausgut 10, 1930 the daughter of Charles and Leona (Manor) O'Connell. Helena work at CVPH Medical Center as a Nurse Aide for 35 years, retiring in 1992. She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings; Ruth Duquette, Jack O'Connell and Robert O'Connell. Helena is survived by her daughter Cheryl O'Connell of Cadyville, her siblings' Charles O'Connell and his wife Maie of Morrisonville, Jane Harer of Plattsburgh and Ramona Lechowit and her husband William of Dayton, TX, several nieces and nephews also survive her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 15, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. James Church in Cadyville, burial will be later in the year in the parish cemetery.
