Plattsburgh Mr. Henry J. Buchala, 90, of New Hampshire Road, Plattsburgh passed away Sunday, October 13, 2013 at the CVPH Medical Center with his family by his side. He was born in Buffalo, New York on January 2, 1923 the son of Wojciech and Weronika (Ciszewska) Buchala. Henry served in the United States Navy, working as an Aviation Metalsmith in World War II. Henry had been employed as a tool maker for Twin Industries in Buffalo, New York and for General Motors in Tonawanda. He enjoyed working with stained glass and woodworking, especially making toys for his grandchildren and was also an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Henry was predeceased by his parents, Wojciech and Weronika, his wife Rose, his granddaughter Katherine Fox, his siblings and recently his dear niece Adrienne. He is survived by his son, Henry Buchala of Plattsburgh, his daughter Marcy Fox and her husband Tim of Hinesburg, VT, his grandchildren; Bethany Fox, Ryan Fox and Kendrick Buchala, nieces Arlene and Beverly, as well as his devoted family friend Kathleen Camelo. Calling hours will be Monday, October 14, 2013 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A funeral service will follow at 6:00 with the Rev.
