Henry James Latour, 82, of Quality Drive, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Alice Center in Malone. He was born in Plattsburgh on April 10, 1939 the son of the late of Wilfred and Sadie (St. Louis) Latour.
He was employed at the Crete Center and later at Allied Van Lines for over 40 years.
He is survived by his wife Eileen (Drollette) Latour, his children and their spouses; Joyce Smith of Dickinson Center, NY., Julie Fournier and companion Robert Ward of Scotia, NY, Kevin and Mary Fournier of Point au Roche, Tammy and Walter Parrott of West Chazy, Tammy and Dan Steady of Morrisonville, Tina Latour of Treadwells Mills, Hank and Jeannie Latour of Treadwells Mills, Mary Ellen , three sisters and a brother in law; Vivian LaBier of Plattsburgh, Doris Duso of Beekmantown, Bertha and Allan Darrah of Plattsburgh, many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
His first wife, Anna (LaSalle) Latour a son; James “Jimmy” Latour and Francis Fournier his brothers “Jack” and “Tut” Latour, and his sisters Betty Devins and Jean LaSalle passed away earlier.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, May 8, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:00 at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 am in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel.
