Herman J Stone

Herman J. Stone, 77, of Plattsburgh , died Saturday, November 25, 2023 at his home. He was born Tuesday, April 16th, 1946 , the son of Joseph Stone and Helen Stone Herman was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Herman had many friends and was loved by all. Herman was a self taught professional painter who was well respected in our community for many years until his retirement. Herman loved to hunt with his son 'n' laws Richard & Jason, and his brother Ronnie Senical. Herman also loved his scratch off tickets and loved to be in control of the Tv remote. Hobbies: Playing and watching baseball ! Herman was a fan of the New York Yankees and New York Gaints. Interest : Herman was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife Mary (LaTour) Stone they were married for a wonderful 57 years. Daughter Karen (Stone) Rascoe and her husband Richard Rascoe Jr . His second daugher Vickie (Stone) Rascoe and her husband Jason Rascoe. HIs Grandson Kody Rascoe the son of Vickie & Jason, Granddaughter Hannah Rascoe daugher of Karen & Richard. Along with his great grandaugher Jordyn Rascoe daugher of Kody. He is predeceased by His father Joesph Stone & mother Helan Stone. His sister's Shirely Gantt, Betty Webb, and Sharron McKenna. His brother Ronnie Senical. Celebration of life will be held at the residence of Mary & Herman Stone 27 St John Street Plattsburgh NY on December 2 at 1:00 pm Arrangements are entrusted to Brown Funeral Home.
