Hope Carol Doucette

Hope Carol Doucette , 91, of Plattsburgh , died Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility.  She was born Saturday, July 23rd, 1932.
Hope spent most of her career as the Head Bursar at SUNY Plattsburgh where she was well loved by the students and staff. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews and cared for many family members as they grew older and became less independent.
Hope spent the last four years of her life at Meadowbrook Healthcare as she was no longer able to care for herself.  Sadly, COVID-19 protocols took a toll on Hope, as they did for so many, and her health slowly declined. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Hope is survived by Shane Young(nephew), Hope Feuerstein(Young)(niece), Michael Young(nephew) and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews as well as great grandnieces and great grandnephews.
Hope was the last remaining family member of her immediate family.
A burial service will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery on October 25, 2023 at 10:00am.
