Howard L Begor

Howard L. Begor, 70, of Military Turnpike, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family by his side. He was born in Plattsburgh on March 8, 1948, the son of the late William and Theresa (Tourville) Begor. Howard was employed as a Licensed Practical Nurse at CVPH for over 35 years and later owned and operated the Begor Home for many years. He enjoyed a good meal with all of his family and friends. His hobby for many years was entering sweepstakes and contests and won several times over the years. He is survived by his daughter Tricia Begor and her companion Christopher Colon, his siblings and their spouses: Marilyn Begor and her companion John Rock, Gary and Molly Begor, Ronald and Paula Begor, Larry and Norma Begor, his best friend and business partner Henry McDaniel, a very special person in his life, Cathy Coty, a special cousin Roberto Felici, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter Anne Begor. Calling hours will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at St. John's Church. Interment will follow in Mount Carmel Cemetery.
