Isabelle E "Izzy" Mclean

Plattsburgh Isabelle E. "Izzy" McLean, 65, of Plattsburgh, NY passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at the UVM CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, with her family by her side. She was born in Plattsburgh, NY on January 22, 1951 the daughter of Vernon and Edna (Chauvin) McLean. Her interests and hobbies were watching Marvel movies and crime shows, and going to support drag shows and the performers. She was very supportive of everyone around here, always told them to be who they are and don't give up. She took pride in being a great mother and also being a second mom to many others. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers; Terry McLean and Stephen McLean. Isabelle is survived by her daughter, Joyce "DJ" Cepeda and her companion Thorn Shade and her grandpup Captain Bill of Plattsburgh, NY, her siblings, June McLean of Plainfield, NH, and Vernon McLean, Jr., and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Plattsburgh. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Izzy's memory may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
