Jack Fountain

Jack Fountain, age 88, passed away Friday, July 9, 2021. He was raised in Beekmantown, N.Y., to Paul and Kathryn (Conway) Fountain. He is survived by twin Joan Dignard, Cathryn, Lenora, and brother Horace.
Jack was very close to his loving wife Pearl (Ratta) Fountain. Jack is survived by sons, John, Michael, and daughter JoAnne. Grandchildren include Kathleen, Kevin, Mikayla, Robert and Jennifer; granddaughter Patricia Fountain being deceased.
Jack enjoyed golfing, history, ballad singers, and spending time with his loved ones. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, during the Korean War. After the military Jack retired in maintenance at Plattsburgh Housing Authority.
Burial will be held at St. Peter's Cemetery, where he will receive his final military salute.
Jack was a loving, kind, gentle soul, and will be greatly cherished and missed. His laugh touched the hearts of many.
