On May 30, 2022, Jacklyn Beth Wnuk passed peacefully with her family by her side after a 16 year battle with cancer. Born in Ludlow, Massachusetts, to Charles Labossiere and Margaret Chamberlain.
Jacklyn lived a fulfilling and active life. As a wife to her husband Paul of 28 years, and mother to three girls, Rachael, Raelene and Renee, Jackie spent every moment of her days investing into her family, her friends, her community and her career. Her achievements speak for themselves as she was PTO president, a Girl Scout leader for several decades, highly dedicated to the family run business, and consistently investing her time into the Beekmantown School District. To have been loved by Jacklyn was to experience a loyalty that is unmatched in this world. Jacklyn’s death leaves a void the size of her smile in the hearts of those who knew her and the community she served.
Jacklyn is predeceased by her younger sister Julianne Labossiere, her grandmothers Hattie Labossiere, and Ethel Gamache, and her grandfathers Edward Labossiere and Lawrence Gamache.
She is survived by her husband Paul Wnuk, her daughters Rachael Feibelman, Raelene Wnuk, Renee Wnuk, Son-in-law Eric Feibelman, her step-brother David Chamberlain and her parents Charles and Cathy Labossiere, and Margaret and Richard Chamberlain.
The Wnuk family seeks to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses of the 5th floor Maria, Tiffany, Jackie and Jessica and the staff of the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center or the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 11:00-2:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, Plattsburgh. A Funeral Service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
The family request to “come as you are” as Jackie would have wanted those to be comfortable.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. Plattsburgh, NY 12901, (518)561-3980. Online condolences can be offered at www.brownfuneralhomeinc.com
