Jacqueline "Jackie" Bouchard

Plattsburgh Mrs. Jacqueline "Jackie" Bouchard, 85, of the Wallace Hill Road, in Plattsburgh, passed away Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Meadowbrook Healthcare Facility. She was born in Verdun, PQ, on August 3, 1928, the daughter of the late Noe and Germaine (Pacquette) Berthiaume. Jackie married Andre R. Bouchard on August 22, 1949. She enjoyed reading, teaching ceramics, knitting, cooking, collecting porcelain dolls, and instructing Senior Aerobics at Eye Care for the Adirondacks. She will be known for her sewing of pillows and hats for patients at the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center and doing volunteer work. Jackie was a member of St. Peter's Church. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Andre on May 10, 2011, a daughter Claudine Bouchard Indelicato on April 2, 2010, a granddaughter Kathleen O'Shaughnessy on December 13, 2000 and several siblings. Jackie is survived by her children Peter Bouchard and his companion Arlene of Jupiter, Florida, Serge Bouchard and his wife Pat of Plattsburgh, Chantal O'Shaughnessy and her husband Steven of Massena, Claude Bouchard and his wife Ellen of Plattsburgh, Bryant Bouchard and his wife Susan of Plattsburgh, a son-in-law Rich Indelicato of Marietta, Georgia, several siblings, ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Friday October 18, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St., Plattsburgh, New York. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Church. Following cremation at Mountain View Crematory, entombment will be at the Columbarium at St. Peter's Cemetery.
