Agnew Sr., 52, of Aspen Court, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the UVM Health Network-CVPH with family and friends by his side. James is survived by his girlfriend Melissa Agnew of Plattsburgh. James has several children; James Agnew Jr. of Beekmantown, Shawn Agnew of Elizabethtown, Krystina Agnew of Plattsburgh, Brittany Agnew of Plattsburgh, Tyler and Christopher Agnew of Plattsburgh, Meagan of Plattsburgh and Jamie Agnew of Plattsburgh, a special stepdaughter Tonya Sanger of Plattsburgh, two sisters; Beverly Agnew and her companion Edward Ashline of West Chazy, Betty Agnew of Plattsburgh, Ricky Agnew of Plattsburgh, his step father Frank Grogg, Sr. of Plattsburgh, a stepbrother Frank Grogg Jr. and his companion Tammy Reyell of Plattsburgh, several nieces, nephews and great nieces; Alfred Agnew Jr. and companion Shanice and their daughters Aria and Leah of Plattsburgh, Desiree Agnew and her daughter Layla of Plattsburgh, Laurie Martin and husband, Eddie and their children, Alexia, Hasley, Cy and Lana of West Virginia, Christian LaTulip of Plattsburgh, Timothy Taylor and his companion Tiffany Breyette and their children, and three grandsons Emmit James ,Sylis and Keegan of Plattsburgh, three granddaughters; Alexsis, Alivia and Alyssa, two stepsons Kyle and Brian Flora. James enjoyed country music and going to yard sales and joking with his nephew Christian LaTulip. James was predeceased by his mother Mae Agnew Grogg and his brother Alfred Agnew Sr.. Calling hours will be held on Monday, October 31, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the Brown Funeral Home, 29 Broad St. in Plattsburgh. Memorial donations may be offered to his girlfriend Melissa Agnew.
