James M Carroll

James “Jimmy” M. Carroll from Irish Settlement Road in Plattsburgh passed away unexpectedly on January 16, 2022. Jimmy was born in Plattsburgh on September 2, 1957. He served his country in the Army from 1976 to 1980. Jimmy worked at Georgia Pacific as a machine operator for 41 years before retiring in January of 2020. Jimmy loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. He was an avid New York Giants fan and also enjoyed to fish.
Jimmy was predeceased by his mother, Janice McCarrell who passed away in 2012. Jimmy is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Tina Carroll (Frederick). His daughter Jaime Warren (Spouse John), his two sons, Joshua and Christopher. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Austin, Dylan, and Elayna to whom Jimmy adored dearly. Jimmy is survived by his brother Scott, sisters Lisa, Norma, and Debbie including their significant others. Jimmy leaves behind many living extended family members and friends as well.
There will be public calling hours at Browns Funeral Home on Friday January 21, 2022 from 2pm-4pm for anybody wishing to pay their final respects to Jimmy.
